I’m still working on “Pretty Bad Things”, but Monday’s episode inspired me to do a semi-related story called “I Need Your Help”. As you might have guessed from the title, this story is an extended version of the penultimate scene in 7×10 by the Washington Monument (hopefully that doesn’t give too much away for those who have not seen the episode). Jack is tired of sacrificing for a government that shuns him, but an old friend and his sense of duty may compel him into action yet again.

For those of you who are reading “Pretty Bad Things”, my new fanfiction that attempts to tell the back story of what Tony has been up to since we thought he died in season 5, I am pleased to report that I have another update. I realized I never posted an update about chapter 4 when I posted it, so for those of you who missed it, you get two new chapters. Plus, I completely rewrote chapter 1, so that the whole story now takes place at the end of Day 7, after Jack, Tony and crew have saved the world. Now Tony has to face the consequences of what he did and the difficulty of telling Jack what those “pretty bad things” were.

Here’s the brand new chapter, “Some Pretty Bad Things” Chapter 5.
